Missing Reports
A
new version of MasterVision has added new reports but I can't find
them anywhere. How come?
MasterVision
uses a data file called RptList to know what reports are available.
If you're running on a network, you're probably not reading the
correct version of this file.
When
you install a MasterVision update, the RPTLIST.DBF and RPTLIST.CDX
files are placed in the C:\MV\DBFS folder by default. If your MasterVision
data files are somewhere else, you'll have to manually move these
files to the location where they belong.
To
manually move the files:
1.
Go to Start > Programs > Windows Explorer.
2.
On the left side, find the directory where you installed the MasterVision
update. This is generally C:\MV.
3.
You should see a folder called DBFS. Double-click it to open it.
4.
In this folder, you'll find RPTLIST.DBF and RPTLIST.CDX. Highlight
both of them, right-click them, select COPY.
5.
Go to your MasterVision data folder. Paste both files here replacing
the versions that already exist.
6. Close Explorer and restart MasterVision. The missing reports
should now be available.
