Attendance: Drag & Drop
Fixed an “End of File Encountered” error when dragging & dropping names from one list to another.
Import
Added some more features to the import function.
POS
Added a “Copy” button to easily add multiples of an item that was sold. Highlight the item to copy, click the Copy button, tell MasterVision how many more of that item you want.
Report: Class Enrollment
Fixed problem of report showing people who weren’t really in that class.
Report: Retention By Age
Fixed a “Data Type Mismatch” error that could occur.
Verify Data
Check for duplicate student ID wasn’t quite right. Fixed.
Cleaned up class enrollments if a student doesn’t exist or a class no longer exists.

Contract
Make official was not recognizing data that had changed. Fixed.
Conversion
The conversion program from the old MasterVision would not set the contract buyer correctly. The Data Fix routine in the new program will correct it.
POS: Payments
Was showing a “.f.” instead of a message that the student had no outstanding payments. Fixed.
Payments would only be found if a student was the first or only student on a contract. Fixed so that payments will be found for any student on a contract.
Report: Sales By Student
Report was showing bad data. Fixed.
Reports: Shared Address
New report in Student category.
When adding a new family member with the “FM” button you get a new student who shares an address with the student you were viewing at the time. Since they share an address, if you change an address or phone number for one student, it is automatically changed for the other student as well. This is by design.
This new “Shared Address” report will show you all the addresses that are being shared and who is using each one. You can use this report to verify that the student really should be sharing an address. If they shouldn’t be, you can use the new feature below to split them.
Report: Student Status
Cleaned up some date fields that were showing wrong info.
Selector, Information Label
Rearranged so that there is more room for phone numbers.
Student
Clicking New was not setting the Inquiry Date. Fixed.
If you added a new contact, the contact name did not show up in the list once the contact was closed. Fixed.
Tools: Split Address
New utility at Tools > Split Address. If a student is sharing an address with someone else and you’d like them to have their own address, you can use this tool to give them their own address. The current address will remain with this student but if you change this student’s address, it won’t change the other students’ anymore.

Attendance
Change so only Active and Inactive student are added to the appointment book for a missed class.
Report: Sales By Student
New report in the Sales category of sales to one student in a date range.
Report: Who’s Testing
Now has an option to show phone numbers or not on the report.
Selector: Word Merge
Added new fields to the Word merge that shows the attendance for the student by week for the last 24 weeks. See the Sample Fields.doc in the MERGE directory for the field names.

Collections
Added option to sort by Billing Company # or by student name
Options: Merge Document Directory
If your directory for merge documents was really long, it might not work. Fixed.
Point of Sale: Change
Payment form has a new “Change” button. When clicked, it tells you how much change would be due for the amount you entered and then changes the payment amount to pay for the order. Example: If the POS is $38, you could enter $40 in the amount, and click Change. MasterVision would tell you that the change is $2 and then it changes the amount to $38 to pay for the order.
Point of Sale: Price Check
New Price Check form that lets you scan or enter an inventory item and then shows you the item name and price. “PC” button on the toolbar or File > Open > POS > Price Check.

Attendance: Bulk
Added a new “Bulk Attendance” feature. This lets you easily enter a bunch of classes for 1 student when you’re not particular which day it was. It’s on the menu at File > Open > Attendance > Bulk Attendance. See the Help file for more info.
Collections
The collection form would not “undo” a payment that was collected. This works now.
Find Student
The PIN number for the student is displayed in the results when searching for a student.
Log In
The log-in form now shows you which directory it is reading data from.
There is also a button there now that will let you change directories. If you change directories from there, MasterVision will exit and you’ll need to restart.
Point of Sale
If a student had a contract with a deferred payment that wasn’t official yet, you’d get an error when clicking the “P” button. Fixed.
POS: Delete Charges
A new feature in File > Open > Point of Sale called Delete Charges. Right now, this will allow you to delete a Late Fee charge that you do not want to collect.

Appointment Book
If a student’s expire date is manually changed to be in the future, the Due to Renew message in the appointment book is removed.
Collections
Changed the form to work on a date range instead of 1 date.
If you make the form taller, the display box grows now so you can see more entries.
Student names for the contract are shown in the list.
Processing the payments does not erase the dates on the form.
Exam
Changed labels for Next Exam and Exam Date to better explain what they are.
Intro Appointment
Fixed error when recording an intro class as attended.
Reports: Appointment Book
Added who the appointment is For to the report. It shows the employee log-in name.
Reports: Statement
The overdue message at the bottom of the statement was incorrect. Fixed.
Version 5.05.01, 1/6/05
Appointment Book
Added filter to the appointment book. Click the “Fi” button and select the type of filtering you want.
Point of Sale
The delete button would get errors. Fixed.
Student
State field now does uppercase automatically.
Students: New
In Tools > Options, Student tab, you can now set the default phone number types you want to appear (Example: Home, Word, Mobile). When creating a new student or new infocall, these defaults will appear.
Students: New Contact
When creating a new contact from a student, the student last name defaults in as the contacts last name.
Verify Data
The Tools > System Tools > Verify Data routine updates the student’s Last Attended date to match what is in attendance. In rare circumstances, the Last Attended date could be off.
